Javier Porto, director terap\u00e8utic de <strong>CC Adicciones<\/strong>, creu que se n&#8217;ha magnificat la rellev\u00e0ncia. En la seva opini\u00f3, &#8220;s\u00f3n pr\u00e0ctiques vinculades al sensacionalisme medi\u00e0tic que a un augment que suposi un risc per a la salut p\u00fablica&#8221;. Per\u00f2 no per aix\u00f2 deixa de plantejar <strong>importants riscos per a la salut<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n<p>Javier assenyala que els compostos actius del xarop per a la tos &#8220;solen apar\u00e8ixer <strong>en dosis molt baixes<\/strong> per aconseguir l&#8217;efecte d&#8217;alleujament en processos catarals i gripals&#8221;. Aquests s\u00f3n: <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Code\u00efna<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Des de fa m\u00e9s d&#8217;una d\u00e8cada, l&#8217;Ag\u00e8ncia Espanyola de Medicaments i Productes Sanitaris (Aemps) exigeix<strong>  que els f\u00e0rmacs amb code\u00efna es dispensin sempre amb recepta m\u00e8dica.  <\/strong>\u00c9s un derivat opiacis i els <em>consumidors l\u00fadics<\/em> prenen xarops amb code\u00efna per   <strong>sentir sensaci\u00f3 de placidesa, tranquil\u00b7litat, benestar\u2026  <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Dextrometorf\u00e0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ha cobrat major rellev\u00e0ncia en els \u00faltims anys perqu\u00e8 els productes que el contenen no requereixen recepta m\u00e8dica. El seu efecte <strong>produeix activaci\u00f3, al\u00b7lucinacions i s\u00edmptomes dissociatius<\/strong>. Qui el consumeix busca &#8220;<strong>sentir desinhibici\u00f3, certa euf\u00f2ria, activaci\u00f3 i algun tipus <em>de confusi\u00f3 divertida<\/em>\u2026<\/strong>&#8220;.  <\/p>\n<p>Malgrat con\u00e8ixer-se el poder addictiu de la code\u00efna, no est\u00e0 catalogada la depend\u00e8ncia que podrien produir els xarops per a la tos. Javier indica que els principals riscos s\u00f3n: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Intoxicaci\u00f3<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Mort per <strong>sobredosi<\/strong> de code\u00efna.<\/li>\n<li>Dany hep\u00e0tic i cardiovascular.<\/li>\n<li><strong>P\u00e8rdua de coneixement<\/strong> i visi\u00f3 borrosa.<\/li>\n<li>Rigidesa muscular i <strong>febre alta<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Problemes de <strong>retenci\u00f3 de mem\u00f2ria<\/strong> a curt termini.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Els riscos incrementarien si el consum d&#8217;aquest tipus de f\u00e0rmacs fos continuat, per\u00f2 tal com apunta Morente, infermer i professor de la Universitat Pontif\u00edcia de Comillas, la &#8220;gran majoria de consumidors s\u00f3n <strong>experimentals o espor\u00e0dics<\/strong>, i no habituals o compulsius&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;\u00fas d&#8217;un xarop per a la tos amb finalitats l\u00fadiques no \u00e9s tan nou ni tan freq\u00fcent com de vegades es d\u00f3na a entendre.
