These substances were associated with the treatment of angina pectoris due to their vasodilatory effect, but we are seeing an evolution in their use. Inhalation produces a feeling of euphoria and increased <a href=\"https:\/\/ccadicciones.es\/chemsex-la-peligrosa-moda-sexual-y-drogas\/\">sexual pleasure,<\/a> so it has come to be consumed without medical supervision and for exclusively recreational purposes.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Also called liquid gold, bananas, snappers, or &#8220;super rush,&#8221; popper may have fewer negative effects than other recreational drugs. Even so, there is evidence that negative effects can occur. Furthermore, prolonged use can be a trigger for neurological damage.  <\/p>\n<p>For 2 or 3 minutes at most, &#8220;Popper&#8221; can produce euphoria, pleasure, well-being, and muscle relaxation. Adverse effects, on the other hand, have a longer duration. Common effects include:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dizziness and nausea<\/li>\n<li>Red eyes<\/li>\n<li>Tachycardia<\/li>\n<li>Loss of appetite<\/li>\n<li>Nosebleed<\/li>\n<li>Respiratory alterations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although &#8220;Popper&#8221; is not one of the substances that cause the most dependence, its unpredictability makes it highly dangerous. Like any other drug, it can cause changes in behavior from the first time it is consumed. <\/p>\n<h3>The greatest pleasure is feeling well<\/h3>\n<p>In reality, the consumption of addictive substances always involves risks that can be avoided. It is important to be aware that pleasure does not necessarily have to be related to the consumption of a substance.  <strong>A healthy life and feeling well is one of life&#8217;s greatest pleasures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ccadicciones.es\/en\/\">CC Adicciones<\/a><\/strong>, we want our patients to be able to feel well without having to resort to the consumption of substances that pose a risk to their health.
