There are several applications that help you control the urge to check it: <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1. Cheky:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If you are the kind of person who thinks the problem is not you, but others, install this app. Cheky gives you information about how many times you have checked your phone each day and where. The figure may surprise you and you may realise that you need to set some limits.  <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2. FaceUp: <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;Life is what happens while you look at the <i>smartphone<\/i> screen&#8221;.<strong> <\/strong>This app offers you a test in which you will find out your level of addiction. It offers a programme to overcome addiction through challenges to correct your behaviour and compiles statistics on the time you use your phone. You can see graphs that explain how your phone use is evolving and which apps you spend the most time on. All the data collected is confidential.   <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3. Pause: <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The app that will help you &#8220;reconnect with real life&#8221;. Instead of telling you how much time you spend connected, it informs you of the time you manage to stay <em>offline<\/em>. When you open it, you set the amount of time you are going to be disconnected and set what activity you plan to do instead of, for example, checking Instagram.  <\/p>\n<h4 class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>4. NoPhone: <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p class=\"story-body__introduction\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If none of the above apps work for you, you can turn to NoPhone. It is a mobile phone created with a 3D printer, which is actually a piece of plastic shaped like an iPhone. It has no camera or Wi-Fi and does not allow you to make calls. It gives you the feeling of having a phone, but without the addiction.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Treatment for New Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ccadicciones.es\/tratamiento\/adiccion-a-las-tic\/\">treatment for addiction to ICT<\/a><\/strong> aims for the patient to regain full control of their life.
