Cannabis<\/a><\/strong> is one of the most widely used substances today. Despite being an illegal drug, its use is spreading as if it were a permitted substance, like alcohol or tobacco. Even so, the danger associated with its use is not as widely internalised. In many cases, the effects of cannabis involve a pleasant state of relaxation for the user. Everything changes, however, when the effects stop being pleasant and panic sets in. <\/p>\n

Depending on the moment, a person\u2019s mood and physical condition, the effects of cannabis may be one thing or another. The effect may be relaxing or trigger a state of alertness that leads to a loss of control and frustration. The body begins to tremble, the heart beats faster than normal and dizziness is felt. Then, the mind enters a state of fear and paranoia that, however brief, feels endless. <\/p>\n

The short-term effects of cannabis can cause emotional harm over longer periods. The panic attack usually recurs when the substance is used again. It does not have to be the first time it is used to experience it; it can happen even to regular cannabis users. The question is: what triggers the panic? There is no definitive answer to this question. However, there is a way to make it go away: by stopping the use of this substance. <\/p>\n

There is always a way out.<\/h4>\n

What frightens us or puts us on alert is something personal. Using a psychoactive drug may not help to ease this feeling. In fact, it can make it worse. What helps us feel better? Exercising and following a healthy diet is essential. Knowing that there are ways to help oneself without the need for a substance is the best way to feel well.
