The magnitude of the risks associated with drugs has led to considering preventive actions as a necessity, because <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ccadicciones.es\/en\/how-addictions-affect-work\/\">the work environment constitutes a favorable setting for the prevention and control of drug use<\/a><\/strong>. A drug-free workplace protects the health and safety of workers. In this way, workers who do not use drugs have fewer accidents, make fewer mistakes, and are more productive.    <\/p>\n<p>Prevention activities should prioritize production sectors and groups of workers in high-risk situations. This also includes those whose job performance may pose a risk to third parties (drivers of public service vehicles, healthcare professionals, security personnel, etc.). Activities to be developed include information, awareness, and guidance.
