What Is Tusi, the Deadliest Pink Cocaine

por CC Adicciones

Today, the variety of drugs in our society is overwhelming. Every year, dozens of them can emerge through new formulas, the use of previously unused products, or the combination of several toxic substances. Depending on various factors such as social class, market penetration, accessibility, etc., individuals use one or another. However, in recent times a new narcotic has been emerging that has become as popular as it is dangerous. This is Tusi, also known as pink cocaine.

Tusi, the pink powder

The drug known as Tusi is a new substance that has taken hold in recent years among young people in our society. It goes by several names, such as Pink powder, Pink cocaine, Rosy cocaine, Venus, Erus, Nexos, or Tucibi. The latter is the full form of Tusi and bases its name on the English term 2CB or “Two ci bi”.

Tusi is a synthetic drug that causes psychedelic effects in the person who uses it and can alter all their senses. When taking this pink cocaine, their perception of reality changes through visual hallucinations and the thoughts generated as a result. When the effects of Tucibi are very intense, the addict may experience panic episodes, very similar to the fear attacks caused by LSD use.

What is Tuci made of?

Pink powder is partly based on the drug LSD, which is why it can cause hallucinogenic effects. On the other hand, it also contains a proportion of the substance MDMA, which produces a euphoric effect in the person who takes narcotics of this kind. The result is that the person experiences a high and a state of immense pleasure that makes them believe their abilities have increased. A false belief forms that they have more strength, which, translated into their behaviour, means behaviour based on nervousness and excitement.

Although Tusi is given names such as rosy cocaine or pink powder, it has few similarities with the widely used and tremendously popular cocaine. The only aspect in which these two substances are similar is their appearance. Both Tucibi and cocaine are usually distributed in powder form. However, the former has a much higher addictive potential. Therefore, its level of danger is much greater, to the point of being comparable to narcotics such as methamphetamines.

Using rosy cocaine

Rosy cocaine is a toxic substance that is rapidly absorbed. In other words, after use, the body takes it in almost immediately and processes it in a very short time. Its effects can appear in as little as an interval of about fifteen to twenty minutes.

When Tucibi reaches the brain, it triggers high amounts of chemicals, such as dopamine, noradrenaline and adrenaline. The combination of these, together with the other elements of the brain system, initially produces an alteration of the senses. That is, they cause visual hallucinations and interfere with the normal process of forming thoughts. What happens next is a change in the perception of the addict, who comes to see the world differently.

Effects of using Tuci

The consequences of pink Tusi can vary depending on the amount of the doses and the frequency of use. When small doses of this drug are taken, the person’s behaviour shifts towards a stimulating effect. When heavy use occurs, hallucinations appear. On the other hand, the effects of rosy cocaine can last approximately between 4 and 8 hours.

Taking pink powder, even in low amounts, is very dangerous. It poses an extremely high health risk. It can cause devastating consequences for both the body and the brain. From the very first moment, the after-effects of use can appear and completely alter the person’s psychological and emotional state. One of its most likely effects is panic and anxiety attacks induced by the hallucinations the drug causes.

In the long term, using Tuci can lead to:

  • Severe anxiety episodes
  • Disorientation
  • Depersonalization
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Depression
  • Psychotic disorders

Another consequence of pink cocaine and drugs in general is that family members and people close to the addict are also affected by their use.

Tuci use in Spain

Using pink powder in Spain is an increasingly common reality. In recent years, several police operations have been carried out to dismantle illegal trafficking networks of Tucibi. Because it is a highly dangerous drug and not all aspects of it are yet known, if it were to reach the streets it would be a real catastrophe.
