Through therapy, both individual and group, work is done to recover fundamental values that have been lost throughout the disease, such as self-esteem, self-control, a positive attitude, etc. Therapeutic services do not end once the patient is discharged and leaves the inpatient center; they continue for some time afterward because follow-up is conducted to monitor their progress. And also, for their reintegration into society.
- Family support. Addiction affects the addict, but also their entire environment. Ultimately, it is a disorder that directly impacts the patient, who has the dependency, and indirectly, their closest circle, as they live through all the consequences with them.
